Hey guys do you know which one would be better to get the 1.8T or the 2.8T ? If I got the 2.8 will i limit myself of aftermarket parts ?

in the V8, lately i've been spending aprx $80 per week. (@$3.35 a gallon)

i spend more money on gas than i do food...lol

Well im looking at a v6 or v4 and thats crazy man im in college and already scrap by for food lol.

The years in my choices are 97 and 2000 and do you HAVE to put 91+ ?

also - the 2.8 is a 6-cylinder non T. i'd go with the 1.8T just because of the potential it has. with just a chip alone you will gain over 200hp/240 ft-lb. now couple that with a downpipe to Turbo Back exhaust + FMIC + W/M Injection... and you should be making some decent numbers and will be walking all over the 2.8.

but there's only so much a ko3 turbocan go... until you start going BT [:-]

yeah i found a deal that is a coupe and im not sure about the back seat if it even has one .

I thought 2.8 are turboed ? If i did get one with it will i limit myself of aftermarket parts ?

 

Are you confusing the 2.8 with the 2.7 bi-turbo?
