you guys are crazy I go to Santa Barbara once a month and slo is about an hour past that, the way you guys drive. Its a phone drive as well. the 1 is two lanes each way. with tunnels a couple twisty spots and a lot of long straightaways. Anyway I got GPS if someone has got a radar. Cause theres a lot of cops. There's also a couple of spots where the freeway turns into a road and the speed limit drops 10 mph. So a few things to watch out for. but none the less a pretty good drive.

Maybe take the 101 to Santa Barbara and then cruise PCH up to SLO? I'm okay with that route.

250 miles from home. Not too shabby... but I'll be coming down the 5/41/46 route. Not much scenery out that way [sm=smiley24.gif]

I might pick up with some of you guys as you come past Santa Maria on the 101. once you hit Grover Beach the drive is awesome espcecially as you go through Pismo and Shell beach right before you turn inland the stretch of highway is really nice.

My dad just saw an R8 on the highway down south? can anyone possibly explain why such and expensive car thats not even suppoosed to be sold yet was on the highway?
