After a long hard day of blood, sweat and audi... i can confidently say, Thomas's A4 quattro is dialed in to the fullest.
From perfectly balanced front and rearCamber/Toe specs...... to finely tuned ride hightadjustedwithin 1/16' all around...
..... this car is ready for action!

my front driver's side perch's got seized together so i could lower mine further. haha. damn. it would've started rubbing if i did though. i need another adjusting tool to counter-twist or a good ol hammer and flat head.

bit of a bumpy ride, but hey $700 for a set of coilovers. can't complain~

grats on the suspension, and ur car needs another 2" drop. imho

Good work fellas on a scale of 1-10 how hard are we talking? Also ottei how does it ride? and where did you go to get it aligned?

 

Hey its up! sweet! i didnt get to really check out how it handles on the way home 1 because i was mega tired and 2 because my CV boot got a little damaged and i had to take it easy as to not loose too much grease(didnt work though[:@]) It took me awhile to get used to driving so much lower but now it feels great! not bouncy AT ALL!!! the only difference from OEM are those real sharp bumps like inbetween the road and an over pass bridge.that kind of rattles thedash a little.Other than that it feels really good around town and the interior retains its quietness. For the price you are getting everything you can want (execept for some leveling numbers) also forgot to mention that these things are not exactly track ready. If you just want a nice look with some modest performance enhancments these are perfect and even more perfectly priced.

V-maxx Vs. OEM

Quietness: No difference

Ride Quality: sharp bumps are more noticeable but otherwise it is smooth and sexy

Adjustability: you could rally race it or you could tell everyone you got airbags

Installation: for the Quattro its not too bad. Would probably recommend a spring compressor(duh) but if you have done suspension before its very straight forward.would recommend setting the levelmore towards the middle of the shocks before installation(i thinkjet would agree)

Can when you put your weight on the trunk, how far does the suspension compress?

I know on my stasis coilovers it will go down maybe an inch, on my friends car with nuespeed race/bilstein it goes down two inches or so.... what about vmaxx?
