work, booze, and side projects have kept me busy lately.

lets get together sometime this weekend. I need to put some time into my car and I'd like to do so with a beer in my hand. anyone want to jump in on this? sat?

we can make heat shields for anyone with a cone intake mod. I have everything we need.

Matt - How loud is your turbo with the cone intake now?

you can definitely hear it spooling and my DV is pretty loud too. I wouldn't go cone intake without a heat shield though... the heat soak from all of those exhaust components is not good on those IAT's, and throttle response drops a bit. my heat shield brought all of that back and then some though.

I wanna check out your cone intake. Can you still fit the cover on top of the cone intake?
I ran the EvoMS but i didn't like that whole CF cover that doesn't match my other bay covers.

What DV are you running?

cover? are you talking about sticking the cone inside the stock air box? you might be able to. I don't see why you'd want to, but knock yourself out. I guess it depends on the size of the filter. the one I'm running right now is pretty large and probably wouldn't make it, but you should be able to find one that does fit.

I'm running a turboXS DV. ****** 200 bucks from ABD... had to buy it in a pinch when I blew my stock DV. it's fully adjustable though and does a good job from what I can tell, but it was ****** expensive. whatever. car runs.

See that plastic on the left part? That's the cover I'm talking about.

200 bucks? Is it a splitter? My Forge 007 was around $170. Should've gone for Forge!
