I’m looking for a reasonable and reliable (perhaps an oxymoron) mechanic on the peninsula, preferably north of San Carlos. Any recommendations?

Just routine maintenance I hope. However I have been told I need to replace the transmission seal just after having replaced the water pump on my 2000 A4.

If you are willing to go to Hayward, Kents Auto Repair is great. My dealership uses them now and my Grandfather used them when he ran a dealership 30 some odd years ago. They just finished the 60k on my A4 and I'm really happy with there work.
