Irvine Lakes is clean and near the toll road that goes from Irvine to the IE. Santa Ana lakes is my other option for fishing by the 55 and 91.<---I have caught more fishies here (Cat & Trout).

good suggestions..

I think Joe & CHeng have been to the one by the 91 (santa ana lakes)
and werent thrilled though..

thats the one that is strictly fishing from shore right?

yes it is from shore on a lake. its nice to just chill and have a beer.

we could rent the little motor boatsand have a mini fishing tourney. june/july are the best months

John and Chef would be on my team. Im thinkin ill drive the boat John catches the fish and Chef will instantly make sushi for us

^ cmon now J, if we get you, me, ant and joe, fishing is in our in our bloodline. that's all our ancestors did, fish and yo-yo'd birds for food.

clipse-- we are not fishing for carp with bamboo polls and hand made boats.
so you do have a slight disadvantage

the bamboo pole u see is for steering the well hand crafted vessel.

the actual fish catching is done by wading in the waist deep water by hand speed.
