Well, I was just putting it the way people would understand it.
It's actually a meet up for the secret "Death Poet Society".

It's one of my friends birthday that day so couple friends are doing surprise late breakfast.

haha... Like i mentioned before, I'll probably be there late, around 7ish... I've got to coach a hockey team at like 2pm and then i have a hockey game myself at 4... So i estimate by the time i finish my game, go home and shower and get out to Hooters, 7pm... I'll give one of you guys a call to see whats going on

cbock- very nice list of lenses you got there... bring a few for us to try out... wide angle is good for car pics... i also like using something i can zoom to 135-150 for a "portait" type shot of the individual car..... but sounds like you are into it... very cool

i shoot with a 50D... i've got a 28-135 and a 18-40 f4 L..... i usually borrow some of my buddies lenses.... like a 100-400 f4 L, 17-35 2.8 L, or 28-70 2.8 L..... and on days i'm lucky enough he'll let me borrow his 1D mark II.... love that thing... a little harder to use though... i've been getting into HDR shots... can't wait to try some out with the audiforums!!!

so saturday the earliest i could get there may be 2 pm... if i can get out earlier... otherwise it'll be more around 2:35pm

Thanks Jet. I've been building my "kit" up for a few years now... Unfortunately, I just loaned my Dad my 10-20. They're going to Africa for 3 weeks so I told him to take it with him. It's a truly fun lens. I know what you mean about the 1D. I've shot that a few times and my head hurt trying to figure out the menu system. I've grown so used to the 30D, it's going to be hard to change. HDR shots can be cool. But, I've seen a lot that are WAY over done.

Anyhow, looking forward to getting up there with you guys.

 

Yeah when he told me I was like crazy I've never seen an asian play hockey. He probably does some crazy ninja stuff out on the ice lol.

Oh and as far as Snowboarding on Feb 1st, I'm going to reschedule that cuz it's superbowl sunday :-) Who's doing what that day.

 

I say party at my house, but my tv is 2 small. (Curse you ex.) Anyway i am still down for a party at my house if anyone is interested let me know. I will find a bigger tv by then.maybe. Also I am down for some canyon runs I'll need to break in the girl after all her new stuff. so Let's do this.
