Like Mark said, we'll probably be doing the photoshoot at the Ikea parking lot. Maybe we'll hit the road for couple of rolling shots around the area or we can even do the rolling shots inside the Ikea parking lot if it's not packed (we don't want to cause traffic or anything).

Just throwing it out here:
For those meeting up for canyon run, I suggest to probably meet up at McDonald's off Route 66.

And then you guys can continue on taking Lone Hill Ave > Foothill Blvd

^ confusing way.
best bet = meet at the shell station or in-n-out on azusa, right off the 210. that's pretty much where you'll find the GMR people meeting up at b4 they hit the canyons. i've seen VWVortex at in-n-out and honda-tech/nicoclub at shell.
then continue going north up azusa (it should merge onto san gabriel canyon rd.). it turns into azusa canyon... then you'll come across a bridge, that's east fork. take that bridge and go all the way (stay on your right) and it should take you to GMR ( at the tri-intersection, with the VERY sharp u-turn into GMR. )
and J, if my gf doesn't have work then she'll be tagging along.

That's where my friends and I were meeting up couple years back.
Mark, so what happened to you that you stop doing runs? Is it the Celica story? (But from what I remember Celica was at the 605 going to the 10?)

^ well... the celica was one of the reason's i stopped driving wrecklessly and racing people (though i do enjoy WOT on occassion ;])
but i spun out at angeles crest/mt. wilson on a double apex ( rear wheels went off tarmac and hit dirt ). GOOD thing i spun out towards the canyon and knocked down a road sign ( i have ding on my rear passenger fender from that ). if i would've spun out the opposite direction, i would've had a good chance falling off the side of the damn mountain. lol.

I'll say it again, I drive no more than 8/10ths on the road. And, on a canyon road I don't know, I'll be driving even more cautiously. But, I'm looking forward to it. I got a GPS, worst case, I'll "catch up" when we get to Ikea. 
Whether it's the Shell station or McDonalds, what time works for everybody? Keeping in mind we want to make it back for a quick wash and the pshoot. I can prolly be there by 11.
