Default Timing belt

Ok guys I know wilcox has been talking about it, and I know my ride is way over due. So i pulled the trigger and bought the timing belt kit from ecs. My original plan was to change it htis weekend but after special request it's been put off for a weekend. I am probably going to knock this thing out in my garage at my apt. it's a little 1 car garage. but i think it will do the trick. I am buying a decent amount of beer if anybody wants to come by and watch the ridiculousness that's going to take place. Also was wondering if any one has a cam lock tool so I don't have to buy one. thanks.

ok fellas thanks for the support i am going to put this thing in my garage Friday night and probably do most of the disassembly then. well not most some of. i figure i'll start that around 6p.m. and that will be on the 28th, then Saturday will be a lot of drinking cursing and whatever else happens when you work on cars. Sunday i'll be towing it to a mechanic to fix all the screw ups. hahaha just kidding, i hope. i figure Sunday shold be a reassemble day unless i can finish it off on Saturday. So it's up to you fellas and lady if and wen you want to show up. I have about 4 extra chairs so you might want to bring a few. So far my list of parts include the timing belt kit fuel filter oil change and spark plugs. ran out of money for the bi pipehopefully i'll also get a snub mount.

I would help out to if I was not 1700 miles away. [:@]

When i first bought my A4 1.8T my VERY first EVER engine DIY was the timing belt ( I know I know, probably not the smartest thing to do) but I took me 10 hours to do and I got it all back together and it ran perfect right up until I sold it (it's still running perfect now as well though. It didn't break or anything). The key is just to take your time and not rush anything.

Oh and if you have leftover parts... yeah... just make sure you don't. LOL

G-tech now that is some funny *** ****.

Jet - give me a price and i will cover any expenses

Josh - dude extra parts, that always happens to me. I look at it as weight reduction.
