I'm looking to buy the TSW Donington in matte black 18 x 8 with a 42 mm offset for my 2006 A3 with a 225 x 40 tire. I think these are some of the nicest rims and it's about time to give the girl some new shoes. A 42 mm is significantly less then stock and will stick out 27mm more than the stock 17" rims which (I believe) are 56mm offset. I've also just ordered Vogtland Springs, which will take the car down 35mm from stock. I know running 42mm offset 18's is cutting it close, and I've heard mixed things about dropping the A3 with wheels that stick out more. Does anyone have experience with the TSW Donington's on the A3? If so could you post some pictures? Moreover, has anyone dropped an A3 and used lower offset rims and/or would know the tolerances? Thanks - D
