New Nitto Motivo Tires on my A6
I am one of the lucky folks that got into the Nitto Motivo tire sampling program with my '04 A6 2.7T S-Line.
The tires that were on the car were Bridgestone Potenzas, and while they were adequate, they were always noisy. That kind of spoiled it for me. I am what can be described as a "spirited" driver, but at the same time, I would like to have a civilised ride, too.
The new Motivos that I now have on the car are a revelation. Quiet, comfortable, very responsive, corner great with no drama, excellent straight line stability, and supposedly good for 60K miles. With the lack of rain in the Midwest, I don't know yet how they will behave in the wet, but they are supposed to be resistant to hydroplaning as well. I would pay the price for these tires if they continue to be this good through the reasonable life of the tires.
