Default Tires for 2011 A4 2.0T Sedan

Hi All,

My wife has a 2011 Audi A4 2.0T Sedan Premium Plus. I am looking for a new set of tires - what I would like are tires that are both quiet and good in the snow (all-weather). The tires are 245/45R17. I don't care so much about performance so long as quiet/good in the snow are accommodated.

Can you make any recommendations? The tires currently on the vehicle are Pirelli FourSeasons but they are cupped/scalloped, so I'm a bit wary about re-ordering them - are these good tires/is it typical for them to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry, I'm happy to help.

I would suggest going into a Grand Touring All Season category. We have a couple of really nice tires I would suggest checking out.

Bridgestone*Potenza RE97AS

Continental*PureContact with EcoPlus Technology

Both of these tires tested really well and will need the needs you are describing. Please let me know if you have additional questions or contact me directly to place an order.

Best Regards,

Best Regards,
How do the above compare to the ExtremeContact DWS in terms of all-weather and quietness?

The DWS does excellent in light snow, and would not be as quiet. I didn't suggest it as it is from the Ultra High Performance category. You said you didn't care about performance and wanted to focus on quiet and good in the snow.
