Winter Tires for TTRS?
So, I live in NC and do business in the mountains at Ski Resorts. Getting around is pretty important to me!
My 2012 TTRS has those Toyo's on it now and I'm wondering what I should do for the winter.
I currently have a BMW X5 with Conti DWS all seasons on it and a 328xit (all wheel drive wagon), also with Conti DWS tires. Both sets are new. The tires on the X5 are 20" and super wide, so I doubt they would be great in ice or snow.
Most of what we get here is ice but then when I go to mtns it's snow.
In the past I've had E46 BMW's with Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted on extra wheels but all of those are for E46 BMW's and I doubt any will work on TTRS. I have way too many wheels/tires around!
Input? Should I just drive the wagon on those snowy/icy days or should I look at the "performance snw/ice" class on tire rack?
