2006 A4 B7 Halogen --> OEM Xenon conversion

Description:
All Audi's should come with HID headlamps! You can see better and that makes driving at night much safer. Light pollution isn't as blinding to oncoming drivers but at the same time you are more visible to them. The voltage load on alternator/battery is much lower and the system is much more efficient.

If my car hadn't been such a good deal when I bought it (used with 37 miles on it - a lady won it at a casino, didn't want it and sold it to the local audi dealer), I would have ordered it with the HID package.

I wanted the Original equipment HIDs for my car but getting that wouldn't be easy. Here is how I installed them:
Step 1 - locate a set of complete Audi (Valeo) Xenon headlamps from ebay, craigslist, junkyard...
(I got mine from germany on ebay.de)

Step 2 - Order the kufatec halogen to HID adapter also found on ebay.
Step 3 - Wait a month or so for all that to get to the U.S.
Step 4 - Remove old and reinstall new... this part took me 2 days.
I'll post the rest later...

You will need to remove the panel underneath the steering wheel. There are 4 bolts I think, one of which is here.
