Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Bought this car with the intent of complete modification for Auto-X with budget in mind. I am retarded with cars and felt this would be a great intro into it. The car is light as hell (2200lbs) and has enough power to make things interesting (145hp). This is the car I learn to tear apart so my intro to the E30 M3 won't be so rough.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
-Swapped 120k M42 in 1/08; new waterpump, thermo, and misc. gaskets/seals. Coolant hose mess is gone
-Dinan chip
-M20 flywheel conversion, OEM M20 clutch
-E28 535i green engine mounts
-AKG E21 aluminum cap transmission mounts
-AKG delrin shift carrier bushings
-'95 M3 steering rack swap with beefier E36 tie rods, PS belt has been removed (but still functions)
Suspension Modifications:
-Full C3 Motorsport kit (500#F/750#R); shortened/welded struts.
-THR Eyeballs
-Brand new LCA's and front wheel bearings
-DOT approved SS brake lines installed in front (rears not installed)
-Axxis Ultimates w/ OEM rotors
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Stock basket weaves so far
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
-Removed carpet
-Removed passenger and rear seats
-Full tar stripping
-Momo steering wheel hub with 6 bolt momo wheel
Future Modifications:
-New paint
-Installation of fender flares with very wide tires
-full cage
-sparco seats
-exhaust of some sort
-replace the windshield
-fix the oil leak
