Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I purchased an A6 Quattro Wagon (Avant?) w/4x4 and w/a blown head gasket (Thought is was a DEAL too good to pass up for $1,600 -VIN# WAUJC84A1WNxxxxxx). Able to start & found water coming from exhaust & coolant in oil. I tried to locate Hayes or Chilton manuals for this model, none to be found. Purchased the Bentley A6 1998-2004. Helpful in some ways, but to my surprise it's not showing this car. Engine code is NOT listed in here! Only showing V6 5-valve motors and found this AFC code was in earlier A4 models but not in 1998? And not with any A6's.
