Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I bought my Audi with an insurance claim from getting hit on new years. (First foreign car, previous avenger) It was a bit of an impulse buy. $3300 with 106.700 on the clock, minor (common) exterior damage. Had a bad spring in the back but other than that it drove extremely well (test drives are never long enough.) It has a pretty sketchy carfax, no proof of a timing belt job, but I thought "I have to get it before someone else does!" So i bought it. Long story short i had an inspection done by the local audi dealership (They have no problem telling me every little bit that they need to replace) Needed the obvious timing belt, water pump, etc. As well a cam tensioner leak and a prop shaft leak, valve cover gaskets, Full tie rods on each side, and Rear shocks and springs. Thank you Audi of Bedford for your $5500 quote. I chuckled and left. I got the full timing belt job (everything) As well as gaskets, seals, the works for $800. But from what they showed me after the work That my front control arms are in bad shape. The only bit of good news i've gotten since i bought it is that all four hub assemblies have been recently replaced and a full throttle body cleaning 1k miles ago.
Even still i am absolutely in love with this car. Wish me luck.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Bone stock 2.8L V6.
Suspension Modifications:
Bilstein shocks with H&R race springs (2' drop)
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Stock 5 spoke 16"
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Pearl White exterior paint, Two tone black-tan interior.
Future Modifications:
In order (I hope): Professional tint, 1" Lowering set, a newer set of OEM factory 17-18" Cold air intake; possibly intercooler? Haven't researched that yet, Aftermarket lights. I am also watching part outs for black leather seats Sun visors, possibly a black sunroof cover? I want to offset the interior to black with tan accents.
