You will also need a jack and jackstand. You will probably need a punch to push the pinch bolt out. If you want to torque the jam-nut you'll need a 22mm crows foot and socket extension.

The outer tie rod threads into the collar, the 22mm jam-nut locks it into place. Count the threads behind the jam-nut and count
