It's a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500. it was a 100% complete survivor when purchased. It is being built as a street machine along the lines of the 2015 Detroit AutoRama Ridler award winning Chip Foose Imposter" Impala.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
1974 440 wedge/540 HP. BB A727 automatic with modified valve body. Ford 9" rear end narrowed 6 1/4 inches.
Suspension Modifications:
Rear wells tubbed to the frame. Leaf spring suspension moved to under the frame rails giving 15 1/4 inches of space for rear tires. Heavier torsion bars and subframe connectors with torque boxes. Adjustable rear shocks.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
MT Sportsman rears 29 x 15.00x15 w/ 15 ich section width and 13 inch tread. Fronts are same brand but 26x 45x15. Wheels are 15 x 10 back and 15x 8 front yet to be decided brand/style.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Adding 2001 Audi Allroad Quattro dash/console/steering wheel assembly. Has Shymphony sterio and deual climate controls, CD player and cassette. Opened side scoops and filled with wire mesh, added 67 Charger rear lights, shaved gas filler and moved to top of left rear quarter, squared off both front fender leading edges, added 66 Coronet grille. Adding Audi power windows, locks, and custom onoff headliner w/Audi overhead lighting.
Future Modifications:
