2021 SQ5 Control Arms [Upper & Lower] Replacement Qs
Hey y'all!
First timer doing a full replacement of the control arms [front end] upper and lower full kit replacement.
I have a few questions listed below:
1. I wanted to ask if anyone had any solid guidance for crucial tools beyond the following:
M12 triple square driver [XZN bit]
Ball joint separator [no pickle fork]
Strut separator
Strut spreader bit/socket
TORX T25/T30
90 degree Pick & panel tools
Metrics: 10, 13, 16, 18, 21 for 1/2" drive
Breaker Bar [1//2" Drive]
Bushing Press Kit
[General tools not listed as it isn't needed to list here]
Plus 2x8 boards cut in 1' sections times 5 layers times 4 wheels to account for the suspension lift/drop since not using a hydraulic lift.
2. Is the SQ5 suspension the same as the Q5?
3. Does anyone have solid diagrams labeled for the control arms/suspension I may print?
4. Any guidance on "look out for.." or "watch out for"....?
5. Any solid recommendations for manuals in this department?
6. Any hints, tips and tricks to offer?
Thank you very much! Happy wrenching!!
