Default coolant leak

here is a picture of the small puddle of coolant i have found on my engine, i first noticed it when i smell something sweet everytime i get out of the car. My guess is a hose or fitting, any input would be great here are some pictures.

Theres 2 hoses leading to/from your oil filter plate that run around that general area. not much to say about it though, if you have a leak, find the leaky hose, replace/fix it. Any more specific question about it?

I suggest checking the temp sensor line. You could have a small tear that lets the water travel as you move.

It is the coolant plastic hose connector 0 ring. I am changing mine as we speak. Problem you can not find the 0 ring.....must buy the complete part. Go to rockauto.com part#06A121132Qand it costs 8.92. Very reasonable. I thought the leak was from a lower hose and changed it. Finally an audi mechanic told me that at about 80 thousand miles the 0 rings degrade on the hose connector. I am waiting to get the part to install. Not hard just messy. suggest you drain the coolant because when you pull the hose connector from the blockthe coolant pours out. If you need guidance PM me>......
