yeah. so. Im trying to buy a 91 coupe quattro. its in pretty good shape. and its at my house waiting to be test driven. it got delivered by triple A last week and she was going to let us clean it up and test drive it here at my house cause she had to tow it from her house cause she was moving and everything had to go.

but the owner cant find they key. and hasnt called me back in a week. so im wondering. is there any way possible to get a key made? i remember somebody saying that on the inside of the 4000's driver side door panel theres a code to make a key or whatever if i remember correctly.

but yeah.
any help? at all? besides taking off the door handle and seeing if a locksmith can make one off of that?
and we dont have the title so not very many locksmiths are gonna work with us anyways.

so yeah. any ideas?
