Hi guys,
I'm a die hard volvo (turbo's) fan. Mine just got totaled from a rear end job so I wanted to try something new. I picked up an S8 and wanted to know what mod's (without breaking the bank) i can throw on to really give me that TURBO feel I miss. The car is great all around with style, comfort and some juice. Just no neck PUUUUSH like a turbo. While you're giving your advice, she's got 65,000 miles, doesn't leak a drop and would appreciate a heads up of any problems they're known for.

He was playing with the VAG-COM software on his laptop... Lucky SOB... That S8 was sexy as hell (it was black).

a friend of mine has one and i love those cars to death!!!!! i want to build one some day out of a Touring model.

unless you're willing to play around with custom rotating assembly, intake and exhaust setups, i don't think you'e going to get the jolt a turbo would give to you. your comment about not breaking the bank tends to lead me to believe that you're not going to explore those avenues, so i'd say stick to ECU and exhaust upgrades.
