Could someone tell me why headers are rarely mentioned on this forum? I was always told (before I bought an Audi that is) that headers are a must-have when modding. It only seems logical that if people are upgrading exhaust/cats and chipping that you would need the headers to match or the strain on the stock engine is gonna be too much. Seems to me that a chip is a quick fix but if you're to have any longevity out of the car that you gotta tune it right. Am I missing out on something? Is there a reason that headers don't work on the Audis or are people just not into doing it? Thanks in advance.

 

The stock ones are good from audis, there are plenty of a4s making over 500hp on the stock ones.

 

headers... thats all i heard when i was into the jap modding scene. DC SPORTS, etc, but nope, never heard of anyone discuss them for AUDIs. audiboy is obviously right on that one.
