This is done so that if you are sitting in traffic and you still have cooling and through the cooling fan. The heat exchanger also acts as a warmer for those cold climates. Unless you are going to do some serious towing or live in extremely hot climates, I don see the need for an air to oil cooler. kakarot 08-29-2005, 03:00 PM Thanks, you mean that it cools enough. You helped me a lot. 0fframp 08-29-2005, 03:53 PM If the cooling system is in good working condition then you shouldn't have any problems. kakarot 12-15-2006, 06:29 PM any whoo, I upgraded my cooling of tranny, the tranny gets hot when you do redline in 2nd gear @85mph, or 3rd gear, which I havent found the top speed of it. I take small precosusion of heating up the car, and the tranny, then I can drive okey, becouse tranny cooler is in direct flow of cooling fans, it cooled as I stand in trafic. In city tranny usually doesnt get higher that 50C, but on highway, it gets extreamly hot. Sorry for bringing old threat, but I wanted to post upgrades. |
