Hey, i'm pretty new to audi and am looking for an a4. I have found one at a dealer for $8000. It has 74,000 miles on it, FWD, and cloth. I took it for a test drive and noticed the service records in the glove box. The car has fairly new tires, the A/C was replaced a year ago, and the serpentine belt(?) was replaced. I was just wondering if you thought the price was good?

In my opinion thats an aweful price, I got a 96 A4 quattro v6, 100k miles, for 5 grand. Maybe you feel comfortable buying from a dealer, but that price is pretty high. try going to nadaguides.com to find the resail values of cars.

 

Year and engine model please....?

 

regardless of the engine its not a great price, 96 is the first year (in US) and there are alot of things that got upgraded in later model years also its not quattro with cloth... check private sellers and compare prices

Unless its in pristine condition it seems a little high talk em down or just go somewhere else...
