i need to replace a cat, the dealership told me 1500, BS- i went to a exh shop today and the told me 400 per high flow cat with the oxs bund on it. Can i just put straight pipes in place of the cats and put the o2 sensor in the pipe or what will i need to do to modify it? anyone here running test pipes? i read on awe or ecs tuning that if you are running a chiped car then the second o2 sensors will work with straight pipes. has anyone had this problem? please help, negative or positive.

 

or can i modify the o2 sensors to read ok with no cats.
