Default audi 80q idle probs

My car will start up and run fine for a few minutes and then start running rough and rich. I am thinking it may be a bad CTS, and my temp gauge will not move only sometimes by a hair and yes i replaced the thermostat, and also once the car is warm and you shut it off you need to wait awhile before it restarts and I am thinking that is from a bad check valve. The timing is correct and all ignition items are ok I just replaced the headgasket. Please help it runs great till it warms up. Anyone have any tips. Oh yeh its a 88 80q

hmm, maybe the injector control plate is bad, or its badly tuned.
or ignition is wrong.

not sure I have played with the distributor a bit but never seems right and the timing are lined up correctly. The injector control plate is that in the air box under the lines.

make sure that all the temp sensors are working ... there are several seperate ones .... they contribute to idle and air/fuel mixture and it would be a good idea to hook up the O2 sensor so you can have proper air/fuel mixture when car is warm and under load
