i need to change the front left turning signal bulb in my a4 (1998.5). My hand doesnt seem to fit thru the little space available...do i need to remove the headlight first or should i be able to get to the bulb-housing without difficulty? </P>

The bulb unitshould twist and pull out of the corner housing. Nothing to it really.</P>


The housing itself can simply be pulled free by unlatching the small tab that holds it in place - its at the back of the housing and near its bottom - beneath the bulb unit (you need like a screwdriver to reach in and snap it open). Personally I have never needed to remove the housing (except when I changed to clear corners).</P>
