Oil change........ bulb
That was my first oil change on a new car. They offered some extras( filters, check the fluids and etc) for an extra buck. So i decided to do that. Anyways the total was i think about $160, i asked what kind of oil they use, the guy said regular...... i though wtffff...i thought they use synthetic oil at the delaerships.. anyways.. for an extra $20 i got synthetic one....
Now here is a question:
When youclick on service button on b6 models (dont know about others) it tells you how many miles left till you next service. Now it doesnt tell you anything... like miles left _ _ _ _ days left _ _ _ is that just take some time to observe for a computer or stealership forgot to do something.
Now the funny part: Right after i got the keys back, turned my car on, my rear turning signal bulb went out
)) What bulbs should i use ti replace it?
It is 2003 1.8T. Thanks.

Hit up autozone or any other parts store. If it's one of the larger nationwide stores, they'll have a nice big bok you can look up the bulb type in or you can ask a salesperson and they should help you out.
Eh. I wish mine would go away. I'm just too lazy to reset it.
As long as you change the oil at regular intervals and get the timing belt replaced on time, I wouldn't worry about it.

The dealer changes the oil every 10k, and thats probably what they set your light at, but if you don't want engine sludge change it every 3k or so. The mileage interval will eventually set in the cluster after you put a few miles on it. If it goes off and you want to re-set it yourselfyou press the botton with a wrench on it and hold it down, then turn the key on and press the 00 button next to it while still holding down the wrench botton to re-set it again.
Change it every 5K miles with synthetic only.
Why are you taking your car to a dealer for an oil change.
You can get a Mobil 1 synthetic change at PEP boys for 45 dollars, or even better, change it yourself for 25 dollars.
