Hey, ok im really confused... what is the din size on the dash in a 04 a4??? i would venture to say is double din, crutchfield and circuit city say its single. i've been searching the forums to see if anyone has done this. ive seen some nice pics but little write ups. I NEED to verify, what din size(i want to put a 6.5 or 7in indash DVD/NAV) and WHEREdoyou get the mounting kit for something like that (crutchfield has our cars as a single din, there for they will only give me a single din mounting kit adapter with a bull$hit plastic shelf to fill the rest of the space!!)

do u got a pic of your dash, i should be able to end this problem rather easily. Just post one of yours or link me to one like it on the internet ill tell ya what u need. Im sure metra or scoshe will have what u need but we will see.

 

thanks, ill try one of those 2 companies... ive been talking to alot of places and i think i can come up with some thing... its just dumb they dont have the A4 listed as a double din
