Default I want my Audi back!

All,
I believe my wife has sabotaged my Audi so only she can drive it. I have been stuck with the Durango for a while now and I am itching for my car back. My wife took my car while I had her car lubed. When she returned it, the seat would not move back into my position. So, I cannot fit in the driver's seat to drive the vehicle. Now, all directions of adjustment work except forward and backward. So, when I press the memory for my setting, everything returns to my position except for the horizontal positioning, (forward and back). There is no noise or movement, clicking or otherwise, when I push the directional control forward or back. I would be satisfied with being able to return it to my position permanently.

The vehicle is a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro.

Any thoughts?

Angelo

Could be a loose connector. Check this thread on AudiWorld:

Check the front/back motor... I doubt that the seat is somehow blocked. Connector might be unplugged. If it is not, take multimeter and look for 12v on the motor connector while you press the front/back switch... If no current check fuses. If okay - check the line before the front/back switch.

I GOT my Audi back! Thank you mpw2.7T.
I just peeled that the carpet back and it was on the right side, slightly disconnected.
I pushed it back on and it worked.

Awesome.

Glad it worked. I'd hate to be stuck driving a Durango!
