i have a 96 a4 awd v6 and it has a problem i hope by what ai type u can help ok here it goes---when i have the car parked for a long time like overe night and i go and try to start the car it doesnt start it just turns but doen't actually start up for it to start up i will have to spray quick start in the air box but after i do that the car starts fine for the complete day if i turn it off and leave it for a couple of hours and go to start it it starts right up but if i leave over night thats when i have to spray starter fluid in the air box again please help me with this problem i can not take it anymore

 

i takin a stab in the dark but y dont u try replacing ur fuel filter and spark plugs bc im beting u have a decent amount of miles on ur car....or maybe your fuel pump...tune ups are always a help; also try to put an additive in ur tank to clean ur injectors

 

that wouldn't explain his car starting fine after quick start in the airbox...
here's another stab in hte dark... faulty MAF or maybe your air filter needs a replacement

u think it could have anything to do with a ignition control module? i doubt it though...but hell ur info of using starting fluid may be ilrealivent to the problem who knows. have u tried other ways to start your car?
