2000 a4 wont start wont crank.

Default 2000 a4 wont start wont crank.

Just charged the battery all the way, still wont start. i hear the fuel pump i dont think that is an issue. its the 1.8T, 5 spd manual. Wont crank at all, it started up fine before Hurricane Isaac, after isaac we try to start it wont start, the car has been freakin out emergency hazards stay on i removed the fuse, the windows rolled down randomly, alarm came on every hour, doors locked themselves just tripping out really. any help would be fine my gfs car is in the ******* right now and im just looking for some help!

Sounds like you have a leak. Check the rear trunk and pillars for signs of water entry. It is likely you have water in the central locking control unit or harness. Rain that hard will leak even if your car has never leaked before.

Ill check it out. She said it leaks in her trunk when it rains

central locking pump causes that the rain comes from the sunroof drain, the hose gets clogged and pops out of the housing, if your locks dont work on key fob anymore, the lockin pump is gone,

id personally take the ecu box open and check for water in that, but it definately seems like water got in somewhere it shouldnt be
