Hi!

As the subject says, I'm new here. Just bought an A4 2.0TDi Sport Cabriolet with a few goodies onboard, so I thought I'd check out the forum & see what was what, while I wait to pick it up!

Never had an Audi before, always been Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall or Ford before, although I have had a few goes in an RS4 Cabriolet.

If anyone has any good tips on anything to do with my new car, I'd be grateful to hear!

Thanks

Well, what a roller coaster ride!

Picked the car up tuesday morning... drove 28.9 miles to work (with a couple of quick stops on the way) and then left the car in the car park for the day. One proud owner of a great looking motor.

At the end of the day went to get in it & it wouldn't start. 4 hours later I got home in an RAC van with the car being towed behind me. A follow-on tow the next morning got me back to the dealer & they've had the car ever since.

So, no pics to post up yet I'm afraid, and not a very happy Audi owner either.

Some wiring problem apparently.

Hopefully get the car back today (Friday) and see just how apologetic the dealer feels.

An update on the new car...

The dealer has now fixed the problem after an extra days delay with the dealer ordering the right part, but the wrong one turning up...

Anyway, they have promised the first service FOC, rear parking sensors supplied & fitted FOC and an Audi umbrella too!

So I'm going to pick her up soon & the love affair can commence! Hopefully!
