k04 wastegate

i just got my used ko4, looks pretty good and no shaft play but i cant get the wastegate to open . is it supposed to open and close freely? i want to make sure before i install

is the wastegate actuator on it? If so it is preloaded so that its closed to 6 psi, if the arm is disconnected it should swing freely

it is all connected but it dosent move

Pull it very hard towards the exhaust side and it should move

its not supposed to move freely it has a spring it but u should be able to move it...its deff gonna have some resistance

Just do it yourself, its not that hard at all, just grab a buddy and some regular hand tools and u will be fine.

Doose and i did an install in the general tech area. your gonna have to go search for it though. i dont think it will show up . its called "K04 Install"
