Help, my 98 Audi A6 will not start after filling the gas tank. If I get it started & keep my foot on the gas once I go a foot or so--It's fine. It starts fine all other times. Engine code says I have a vacuum leak. I've replaced the gas cap---any suggestions?????

 

hmm, is the CEL on? i had my CEL on and i got it diagnosed and it said i had an evap leak, reseated the hose and it actually ran better. when it says there is a vacuum leak, do some research and find out where all the vacuums are, check them, see if you have a crack.

 

huh, i was gona say gas cap, but you said you've already replaced that. did you get it from the dealer and is there any possiblity that it might not be working properly? that's the only thing i can think of off the top of my head, especially cuz you said it only does it after you fill up.
