Default Tire pressure option

Does anyone know how I can get the tire pressure option to come back on my MMI screen (the one where you can turn the function on or off)? It used to be there and now it’s gone. I wanted to turn the option off because I have winter tires on that do not have the sensors installed and because of this it constantly shows that I have a problem with the tires. I do have a Vag-Com cable I just don’t know how or what I have to do to enable this feature.

You don't need the VAG COM to do this. Using the MMI select the car button, scroll down to tyre pressure monitoring, then select on or off.

No that should never disapear from the car menu. You probably need an update flash, there has been so many software upgrades in the past couple of years its rediculous.

I am 99.9% sure it was there before, but it is certainly not there now. Am I understanding that you feel I need to update the MMI?

You most likely need to update the MMI, the early models weren't designed to have wheels on it without the tire pressure sensors. Its probably freaking out a little bit, and needs new programming to control that.
