On my 98 A4 2.8l...i have the 16" 7 spoke wheels. On the inside of my gas cap it says that the fronts are supposed to be 36 i believe and the rear 42. Now personally i think those numbers are unusually high, and i asked someone else and they agreed. Is there something on that sticker inside the gas cap i am missing or is that really what the pressure is supposed to be? Someone please share some experience and help me out.

 

read it again, because mine says front 36, rear 36.
i think the 42 is for if youre carying a full load.
