My 98 hit 200k miles...what do I watch out for?
So,
I have a 1998 2.8L A4. It has 203k miles on it and I am curious is to what I need to watch out for in terms of maintenence.
this is what I have had done.
Just this month:
Oil Pan welded and resealed (hit a damn pothole!)
Timing/Serpantine belt done (w/ pulleys, tensioners, and waterpumpreplaced too)
Radiator replaced.
As far as I know, the timing belt is the only MAJOR thing to look out for in most vehicles. I was just curious if there were any other things to watch out for at this mileage. The clutch is fine, it starts mint, and runs good!

Everything actually.... suspension being the foremost. There are a lot of normal wear items in the suspension of these car and Audi felt the need to put twice as many as any other auto manufacture...
Other than that just keep up with the normal required service and you should be ok.

potholes. You already have the major things done. Just continue to use synthetic oil and maybe change the trans and diff fluid. Other than you really don't have much to worry about.
