THE BAD

very small valve cover leak
Also no radio (cd player stopped working so i took it out)
needs rear right wheel bareing
the front bumper has small crack
front bumper is after market with euro plate but not in worst condition just the front bumper kinda bent over speed bump
also high miles 200k but still runs strong every gear is strong. come test drive today

Me and my friend are making the drive from CT to MA to check out the car. He owns an S4, this will be my first. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

 

if those are real borg warner k04's this sounds like a good deal. Sounds like it could be parted out for way more than the asking price. If you can wrench and dont mind a project go for it.

 

The turbo size doesn't sound right. APR doesn't have a Stg3- program and they haven't listed all the other parts to make an APR K04 kit work. Sounds like it's an APR Stg1/2 ECU, so I doubt it has K04's.

It's a decent price, assuming their isn't more wrong with it than what they are telling. Give it a good look over, have a PPI if possible, and be prepared to sink some money into it.

 

not worth it. ive contacted the guy on craigslist from boston and they arent true borg warner turbos. he does have the apr exhaust, hood doesnt match the color of the car but oh well can be painted. but if you want to drop good amount of money onto this car its just right for you. he was willing to trade for my a4 straight up and my a4 only has a giac stage 1 tune, borla exhaust, 7" pioneer 4100avh touchscreen, sonar heads and tails, intercooler, with rs4 reps. so he is willing to go lower on price trust me.
