Secondary air injection system:Incorrect flow detected.
i got this code on my car the other day and ive been hearing it usually is the secondary air pump. people say it doesnt really do much to ur car, but ever since i got the check engine light its been eating gas like crazy. like 10 miles to a gallon. could the problem be anything else??

 

Could just be a coincidence, but you should check the vacuum lines between the combi valves on the back of the heads. Reach around the valves and locate the vacuum lines, follow them with your hand. Im sure you will find some frayed lines. Do you have a vag com? What does data block 32 say in the ECM?

 

nah i dont have VAG com i got it scanned by a mechanic.
