Stuck rear caliper? Car wants to spin out
A6 quattro 2.7t - 6 speed
Anytime I have my car over ~50mph, the rear end wants to swing to the left. I'm thinking it's a stuck rear caliper (It is pretty cold right now here in MI). It just happens sometimes.
Has anyone else ever heard of or had this happen?

Are you sure it is the rear?
Usually a rear brake dosen't make the vehicle turn unless your in a corner and on the edge, but the fronts will make it feel as if the rear wants to come around even if your going in a straight line.

I would go with the poster who said to check your parking brake. Since it is so cold where you are, it wouldn't be unheard of to have the parking brake shoe freeze to the inside of the rotor hat. If you have a heated garage, try parking your car in there overnight and letting everything thaw out. Then take off and clean the front and rear brakes thoroughly to get rid of any condensation or build up.

This could be very dangerous, you could be off into a ditch or hit someone elsle on the highway. Park the car, jack up each wheel, check that each rotor turns freely.
A scraping sound might mean worn out pads, check them all.
