Hardwire radar to mirror issues (Need switched power)
I am attempting to hardwire my valentine radar detector into a 2011 Q5 with smart mirror (dimming and compass).
I have searched the various forums, and Googe, extensively and can only seem to find the instructions for the fuse box and homelink wiring.
I have a mirrortap type wiring with a positive and negative tap that can slide directly into a wiring harness.
The problem is, I just had back surgery (Fusion on 2 levels...ouch) and am fairly limited to an easy installation. Tapping directly into the mirror is definitely easiest for me and I do not wish to use the homelink or fusebox if possible.
I have attached a picture of the harness that I am trying to use. I assume that brown is the ground. Can someone please let me know which is a 12v switched power?
Thank you SO MUCH!
