Audi TT Bose Sound Radio Works- Low to No Sound
I would really appreciate any help with this.
I have a 2001 Audi TT with the Bose System. My radio works (displays station and CD name, etc) but there is no sound coming out of the speakers. When I turn everything off and listen really carefully I can hear about 3% of the sound coming out.
Question- is that for sure the Bose Amp? If it is, I can buy one off Ebay, have my mechanic put it in and we are good. But if it could be something else, I don't want to buy a new amp just for that.
I was shocked when my usually overpriced dealer was way over priced on this and said the amp alone would be about $2000. My car is barely worth that. Anyway. any advice would be appreciated.
