Question High mileage A4's check in!

Just wondering if anyone else out there has a high mileage A4 in the same vicinity as mine. As of today, we currently have 248808 miles on the A4. The only things that need to be fixed (since we practically changed everything else) are:

1) cupholder (I just have a hard time seeing myself pay $100 for a new one)
2) dashboard display (works well enough in the winter and missing a lot of pixels during the summer)
3) the "pleather" driver's seat just ripped at the seam. I may just have to take the seat apart and do some sewing...

The only thing that's original on the car is the turbo, radiator, brake master cylinder and heater core (which we backflush each time it clogs since the dealer will charge around $2k and they will never be able to put the dashboard back together correctly).

All brakes, ABS module, power steering hose, 2 CV boots, suspension, 1 clutch, coil packs, door handle, engine/snub mounts, valve cover gaskets, exhaust, 2 wheel bearings, hazard switch, numerous light bulbs, and I don't remember what else, have been changed.

Other than that, the car still drives great and all electrics work. The engine leak down tests show remarkably great results. And this is with an APR chip for roughly 200k miles. The H&R coil over suspension just won't die. I wish it did since I want a newer (and softer) suspension (I'm getting old). I do want to respray the front of the car since it looks as if my wife has been "drafting" people. But she doesn't want to spend the money on it. We've visited "Paintless Dent Removal" shops a bit since I am pretty neurotic about not having any dings.

Anyone else have high mileage out there and what kind of condition the car in?

It will go a lot farther than 200k, I did a leakdown test to an audi 80 with a 12V 2.8L with 795,000 miles on it, and it STILL had less than 7% leakdown. Thats about as good as a brand new 350 chevy crate motor.

You can look at my garage. I have a 1998 A4 Quattro with 274500+ miles on it and EVERYTHING works...and it still looks great inside and out. Driver's leather seat is ripped, but other than that NO CODES or CELS.... :-)

206k on the clock and still tickin. Its got a new motor since the previous owner let the t-belt rot.

Power locks are out, abs module, drivers seat is torn, the cupholder in the middle is shot, the center console lid is broken, but thats it. Oh Wheel bearings come and go a plenty.

Love the car, fix in progress.

Everyone knows cupholders are where fog light buttons go, and turbo timers go where fog light buttons went

Im about to hit 205k. I need two wheel bearings (ice and snow packed roads = curbs = suck), one of my CV boots just went out, and and I need a rear brake line. The driver seat is torn in one small 3 inch span, and the armrest has a few cracks. Other than that, the car is perfect. Drives, shifts, and rides great. Gonna keep this car forever, especially after I throw a chip, new turbo, intercooler, and few more odds and ends at it. I love my car. =]
