Default Building Custom Grille?

Hello, I have a 2004 Audi A6 2.7 with the S-Line package. I am looking to build my own grille out of mesh. What would I have to do exactly? I am guessing that I would cut the mesh to the correct size and shape, then put a trim around the mesh. This site has what I was looking at:

http://www.customcargrills.com/

But then how would I attach this grille? Is there any writeup or anything about this?

I am also looking to make the lower grilles match also.

Thank you.

I would be interested, too, if anybody has any ideas.

I Have never done this on an Audi, but on other cars, I took out the stock grills, used them as a template and bolted the new grill to the stock locations with stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts. Some of my friends wired them on, but they rattled. Gluing them works great, but you can't remove them for repairs. I've never used tape, but it should work if you back it up with wire or a zip tie (in case it comes loose).

Hope that this points you in the right direction.

Many Thanks
Jim
