Default 87 5000cs tq brake problem

I'm having some serious problems with my brakes sticking...the guy I bought it from said it was the calipers...I think it's the calipers...it should be the calipers...so what I was wondering was if there is something else I should be checking before I pay for new calipers and brake pads..and rotors(all caused from sticking brakes)...please help me...I really don't wanna have to buy all new stuff in a couple of months...thank you

Front or rear? I had two problems to deal with on my 100Q both relating to a sticking right rear brake rotor. Problem was the parking brake cable and the caliper. I rebuilt both calipers and changed the cable myself. Rebuilding the calipers is not an easy DIY job and far more complicated job then the front calipers, due to the self-adjusting parking brake mechanism but it is doable.

well accually frot and rear are sticking...I can tell becuase due to warped rotors I can feel the wheel vibrate when they start sticking...and I can hear and noise coming from the back when the brakes get heated up...also the parking brake cable has been snaped ever since I bought the car. I replaced the front ds caliper because I thought that was the main problem but the wheel still vibrates so I know the other one is sticking

The noise might be from the ridge that forms on the rotors. On my 91 100Q for some reason the pads are more inboard than on other vehicles. This forms a ridge on the very edge of the rotors. Eventually this ridge starts to make contact with the metal backing of the brake pads. The high ridge also makes it a pain to remove the caliper. I usually take a grinder to the edge and grind the ridge flush. Do you know if the car sat outside for a while?

well, the guy I bought it from only drove it six blocks to work everyday for two years...and that was the least amount of driving it's seen since I bought it

I could see if the car sat for a long time then the rotors would rust at a different rate then under the pads causing high and low spots.
