I was looking at converting my 5k to EFI instead of MFI. It is overboosted, and putting out about 320hp, and I am running into problems with the fuel system.

Any ideas on how to convert it to EFI?

 

320 sounds good...i have the same car and I would be giddy as hell if you could describe what you had to do to get there. Thanks alot man, i just feel so close to getting that kinda power out of my ride. just need some further ideas

 

You guys could always swap 20vt's in there.

 

Well, it has the intended acceleration stage 2 kit on it. It comes with a chip in the computer, a 1.9BAR wastegate spring, and a new turbo. That got it to about 280hp, then i had some work done to the head (port and polish, deck) and got the extra 40hp out of it.

I have been thinking of doing a 20vt swap, but i figure it would cost about $4000 to do properly. I just wanted to stick with my 10vt since i have already done so much work to it, and convert it to EFI. The guy converted a '89 200 10vt to EFI, and listed the sources for parts and approximate prices.

 

034 motor sports have a kit for that, I believe.

 

wow! 320hp. That's pretty good. I believe also that there is a kit for that.
