advise buying a 90CS '93
I am buying a car so I went to the AUDI dealer yesterday and the showed me a 90 CS Sedan 1993 with only 56.000 miles. They are asking $5.000 for it.
I haven’t had an AUDI before but I would like to have one. I’ve told the part and fixings to that car are considerable more expensive than to a normal or national car.
I do not know too much of this cars and that’s why I would like to ask you for advise and opinion.
Also, I would like to know how much the motor of this AUDI last.
I really appreciate your comments and opinions.
Thanks.

k
5G is a lot for that car.
heres my car, its Audi 90 FWD 1995 for only 2.5G
yes fixing up the car is expensive if u go to like shops. Unless u find a good shop. Usually rusian shops served me well.
my car is 192K miles, motor is fine, tranny is too. in winter its hard with fronty, and AWD be easier.
If u do repairs your self, its cheap and easy.
I do not believe that car had only 56K, but u can carfax it and check.
parts are usually 5-25% more expensive that asians or american. But evrything I have done during past year was replacing some of the OEM stuff that came with the car from the factory.
So I would say its fine the extra cost, at the end you fix less.

Thanks for your advice.
You are right. At the end I'll fix less but for a little more money.
I saw the car. It is in great conditions. I'm buying through a local AUDI DEALER, so I do not think they have played with the odometer, but you are right a car fax will be good to make sure it is clean.
I think the reason why they are asking $5000 is because the low mileage. I checked the KBB, so they estimate it in around $6200.
Thanks again.
